Christopher Harding
Christopher Harding President & Chief Executive Officer

An industry leader for over 20 years, Chris Harding has been a catalyst for positive, effective change. He has consistently motivated organizations in the IT, health, and life sciences arenas to embrace new and innovative approaches, enabling growth.

Chris has been characterized as a “serial entrepreneur” with a long history of successes. His business experience and his career are highlighted with senior-level leadership positions and most notably, as the co-founder of several highly successful business ventures.

Prior to joining Concordant, Chris was: a senior leadership team member for Cambridge Technology Partners; co-founder and SVP, Field Operations for Breakaway Solutions; co-founder of CXO Systems, Inc.; and Executive Vice President, Business Development for Palladium Group, Inc. In each of his roles—and under his expert guidance—Chris developed a strong and consistent track record for innovative revenue growth and unparalleled success.

In 2008, he joined Concordant, Inc. as SVP, Field Operations and during that year, drove the company’s revenue up by 40 percent and positioned Concordant to serve the electronic health record (EHR) market now poised for unprecedented growth. In 2009, Concordant’s Board of Directors appointed Chris to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer.

In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Chris is actively engaged with overall Concordant client satisfaction, the successful delivery of Concordant services, and building and maintaining long-term relationships with such key clients as Caritas Health System and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.

Chris has been an industry leader in healthcare and has been quoted numerous times in publications such as
Healthcare Informatics, Mass High Tech—The Journal of New England Technology, Health Information Technology, and Boston Business Journal.

Chris participates with several roundtables, groups, and boards, including the State of Massachusetts HHS roundtables on EHR adoption. He serves on the Board at The Carney Hospital, a member of the Caritas Health System; and has been a previous Member of the High Tech Advisory Board of the Boston Public Library.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Computer Science from Boston College.

Stephen Bennett
Stephen Bennett Chief Technology Officer

As a founding partner of Concordant, Inc., Steve brings over 20 years of technology and solution experience in the healthcare, financial, and academic industries. As Chief Technology Officer, Steve oversees Concordant’s Security & Infrastructure and Managed Services practices. He is a trusted strategic advisor to both technical and executive teams.

Steve’s experience spans a breadth of expertise at a number of professional services firms focused in healthcare and other regulated industries. Serving a variety of roles at Concordant, he helps to craft, deliver, and maintain the technical suite of services the company offers. Steve keeps a strong presence in maintaining client relations at some of Concordant’s most strategic accounts, ensuring premium quality service and complete client satisfaction.

Steve delivers quality excellence to such clients as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Beth Israel Deaconess Physicians Organization, and the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative. Steve has crafted innovative solutions in virtualization, cloud computing, and healthcare security. He has been responsible for the technical deployment and support of EHR.

Steve has rescued large-scale technical implementations nationally and internationally for large healthcare, payor, and financial services organizations. A strategic thinker with deep experience in service delivery and strong technical communication skills, he has been responsible for architecting, and delivering successful support models at a number of Fortune 500 companies.

Steve has been quoted in such publications as Mass High Tech—The Journal of New England Technology as well as Information Week.

Steve currently serves on the Anna Jaques Hospital Finance Committee.

Steve has earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Methods and Information Systems and Finance from Babson College.

David M. Christianson, Jr.
David M. Christianson, Jr. Chief Financial Officer

A founding partner of Concordant, Inc., David brings over 25 years of senior-level experience in business management, process re-engineering, and operations in the banking and technology industries. In his role as Chief Financial Officer, he has responsibilities for the management of the company’s business operations, finances, and human resources.

David’s extensive business experience embodies several technology, management consulting, and financial positions. Prior to co-founding Concordant, Inc., David served in a variety of senior roles in several industries. He held the position of District Director of Professional Services for Inacom/Vanstar, a multi-billion dollar, nationwide technology company. Under his supervision, his team successfully delivered reliable, business-focused technology solutions to clients such as Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, State Street Bank, and Hills Department Stores. David was responsible for the financial management of the Northeast region.

David was also the owner and principal of the Aegis Group, a management and technology consulting firm with a focus on the business application of process redesign and emerging technologies.

David was Senior Vice President, Retail Banking & Administration with Safety Fund National Bank, a $300 million institution and one of the largest independent commercial banks in Massachusetts during his employ. He was responsible for the direction of all technology and operations, including the management of branch and retail selling functions.

David has served on many non-profit boards including Catholic Charities, the Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School Committee, the Business Advisory Board at Mount Wachusett Community College, and the Ashburnham-Westminster Foundation for Academic Excellence.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston College, and his M.S. in Management from Fitchburg State College. He is a graduate of the School of Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin and a graduate of the School of Bank Management at Williams College.

Janie Tremlett
Janie Tremlett Chief Marketing Officer

Janie Tremlett has been a leader in translating changing industry requirements into innovative and practical technology solutions for over 25 years. She has been involved with many segments of the healthcare market—from payer-to-provider to home healthcare—in such roles as: CIO of healthcare organizations; CTO/VP, Product Management of software organizations; VP, Strategic Consulting for Services companies; Consultant to investors in selecting promising, new technology companies; and as an industry and organizational Board Member. Janie has gained a unique perspective on the application of technology and data to improve the practice of healthcare.
 

Janie is widely published, having been included in recent publications of CIO Magazine, Healthcare IT News, and Healthcare Data Management. She is a regular speaker and has led a panel of industry stakeholders at the World Health Congress in developing a new technology concept, called the eCare Continuum™, to address delivery changes.

Janie has been an industry advisor to several organizations in the health and life science industries, and held numerous positions during her career. Most notably, she served as VP Strategic Services & IP Development at GlassHouse; and CycleBridge (acquired by GlassHouse), a data consulting company to the Life & Health Sciences markets. She has been a consultant to many technology companies on their go-to-market strategies and productizing of both services and products for clients such as IBM Healthcare.

Janie was one of the founders of Breakaway Solutions where she served as interim Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the strategy services division. She held several CIO/CTO positions including Commercialware and Commonwealth Financial Network. In her role at Work Family Directions, a healthcare services company, she served as Vice President of their ecommerce group and CIO. At Blue Cross/Blue Shield MA, Janie headed up Technology and Information delivery, including the development of one of the first practice management applications, electronic claims, enrollment, and clinical data warehouse development.

Janie’s role at Concordant is Vice President, Strategic and Clinical Services & Chief Marketing Officer. She is responsible for the company’s strategic consulting and clinical practices and is involved in many significant EHR and
HIE implementations.

Janie also works with many healthcare organizations and boards, most notably, Massachusetts Health Data Forum, the EHR Forum, and the HIMSS HIE workgroup. She has also served on the electronic insurance claims and EDI standards committees; Mass General’s Internet Health Care Forum; Pharma Pros advisory board; and national technology initiatives.

Janie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Union College, and her MBA at Syracuse University.
