Concordant’s EHR Adoption Service is a program designed to provide organizations and practices with a framework and reporting tool to benchmark where providers and practices are in the EHR adoption lifecycle. There are many gray areas in determining Meaningful Use, including EHR adoption overall. This tool provides an assessment of the provider’s and the practice’s usage of the EHR against industry best practices, Meaningful Use measures, and quality measures.
The EHR Adoption Service addresses essential areas of adoption—practice and provider proficiency, data capture, and reporting—necessary to meet eligible Meaningful Use and quality program guidelines. This program utilizes Concordant’s proprietary benchmarking tool, which has configurable goals and measures, in order to modify benchmarking as regulations and programs are introduced and changed. The service provides recommendations along with the assessment.
This unique tool can be used over any period of time to measure the progress of both practices and providers. Concordant provides a mentoring program on how to implement this adoption program. We utilize our clinical consultants to provide on-site adoption assessments, followed by knowledge transfer to staff.
