Concordant takes their extensive experience with health information exchanges (HIEs) to the webinar platform with HIMSS via WebEx. This webinar looks at current networks of care: siloed care delivery entities driven individually by economic, qualitative, and technological influences and postulates how they will evolve in the near future to become interconnected by these influences. How will this evolution succeed? Will this new entity still be rightfully referred to as a Health Information Exchange (HIE) or will it be viewed and labeled as something more: an eCare Community that contains an HIE? What are the economic, qualitative, and technological models necessary in creating this new entity?
